Fried potatoes, also known as “French fries” are usually served with ketchup. However, it’s also good with mayonnaise and tartar sauce.
Mozzarella cheese is commonly used in pizza and known for its tenderness and stretches once it’s heated. Mozzarella cheese is sliced into individual pieces then shortly fried to turn into a cheese stick.
Cheesy bread is called “Pao de Queijo” in Brazil and it means Portuguese bread of cheese which noble families used to eat. Often enjoyed with fresh coffee, this became a traditional bread. Made from cheese and milk, it has crunchy texture on the outside and chewy on the inside.
Manihot esculenta, with common name as “cassava”, is a woody shrub of the Euphorbiaceae (spurge) family native to South America, is extenstively cultivated as an annual crop in tropical and subtropical regions for its edible starchy turberous root, a major source of carbohydrates. Cassava is thinly sliced and fried into chips, which is more crunchy and light versus the standard potato chips. This chip is recommended as relish.
Packed with fibers and various vitamins, mashed potatoes are coated with rice flour before fried. Potato sticks are very crunchy which also complements the crisp texture once finished.
Cooked using fresh shrimps, octopus and other sea foods, the mixture of sea food is coated with bread crumbs before fried. The sea food sticks are an excellent snack for everyone since it contains lots of protein & fiber while giving low amount of fat.
